Description

Students consider how a sensory classroom can be used to meet the needs of learners who are sensitive to a sensory stimulus. They evaluate sensory aids to learn how they meet the needs of their users and use this understanding to plan and devise a classroom sensory aid using the micro:bit.

The Micro:bit Educational Foundation is a UK-based not for profit organization. We were established with the support of our founding members (including the BBC) in September 2016 to secure a legacy for the original BBC Make It Digital project in which a million micro:bits were given to UK school children.

We became fully operational on 18th October 2016, and our mission guides us to support exceptional educational programs across the globe.
